Needle Felt Winter Wonderland Brooch Workshop

Have you wanted to try needle felting but didn't know how to start? This is your chance! Come learn the basics of needle felting 2D paintings with Connected Stitches. No experience necessary, so no matter what your skill level feel free to come learn and make a felt creation. Chris will guide participants step by step to make a needle felted Winter Wonderland Brooch that you can wear. Learn the art of stabbing wool into amazing creations!

A Winter Wonderland Brooch Needle Felting Kit by Sageland Inspirations is included in the cost of the class. Each kit comes packaged with 2 Felting needles, Mini Foam Felting Pad, Wool, Shape Template and Pin Blank to complete this needle felting project.

Location: Connected Stitches Yarn & Fiber Shop (10 W Main Street in Dryden, NY (parking is available along Main Street, accessible park is behind the building with a driveway entrance on North St)

Max Number of Participants: 6 in each class session

Skill Level: Absolute Beginner. This class is best suited for adults and kids ages 9+ with the supervision of an adult, as the sharp needles used need to move quite fast to shape and felt the wool. 

Description: In this class, you'll learn the basics of needle felting. You will use barb tipped needles to felt wool onto a surface and create a winter landscape design. No experience is necessary and all materials are included in the cost of class.

Prerequisites: None, no previous experience needed

Techniques you will learn: Needle felting with wool
