Meet Alyssa! Alyssa has been in the shop working as a fiber ambassador, shift manager, teacher, community connector, since May 2025.
Alyssa is enamored by hand crafts, sustainable making and building community through art. She is passionate about leaning into vulnerability through artistic expression, and embracing the imperfection in making. She finds allowing herself to create without critique to be a healing, infectious process. Alyssa spins, dyes, knits, and sometimes dabbles in weaving and embroidery.
Chris is Connected Stitches Yarn & Fiber Shop's owner and founder. She's living the fiber dream getting to connect people, share a love of fiber arts, and enable your stashes. Chris loves all things fiber and will help resource and teach you whatever you need, when she can't she's quick to refer you to another fiber friend who can. Her motto is "there are no silly questions" and she wants you to feel a warm welcome every time you enter the shop.
