Crochet Tapestry Squares: Maple Coasters

Fall is here, and it's time to get cozy with a cup of tea. But, what else do you need? A coaster for your mug! In the Maple Coasters workshop you will learn the basics of tapestry crochet, a technique for crochet colorwork. You will learn how to make a color change, carry and float yarn, and split your yarn into bobbins. By the end of the class, you will have made one Maple Coaster, but will go home with the pattern so that you can make a full set if you'd like!
Date: Monday, September 28th
Time: 6:30-8:30p
Cost: $55

Nicole is a crochet artist and high school science teacher at New Roots Charter School. Her love for crochet has since exploded, and she has developed specialities in color work and lace.
