My First Sweater Workshop:
Join this workshop series designed for knitters who are ready to create their first sweater. Whether you just learned to knit, or have been knitting for years, this class is for you. As a group we will work through all the steps of knitting a raglan sweater, using the Step by Step Sweater pattern by Florence Miller.
Alyssa will answer any questions and help you problem solve as you move through the pattern. Knitting in a group can provide great encouragement and excitement as you see other projects come to life.
Homework for this class will include looking over the pattern, choosing yarn & knitting your swatch before the first class. Once we begin together, you will work on your sweater at home between sessions. The expectation is not that the sweater will be completed by the last session, but that all participants will have the tools they need to finish in their own time.

Dates:

Session One

Saturdays 4/25, 5/2, 5/16, 5/30 (this is a FOUR PART workshop!)

Time: 9-10:30am

Alyssa is a developing fiber artist who is enamored by hand crafts, sustainable making and building community through art.
