Have you wanted to try needle felting but didn't know how to start? This is your chance! Come learn the basics of needle felting with Connected Stitches. No experience necessary, so no matter what your skill level feel free to come learn and make a felt creation. Chris will guide participants step by step to make needle felted catnip mice.

Location: Connected Stitches Yarn & Fiber Shop (10 W Main Street in Dryden, NY (parking is available along Main Street, accessible park is behind the building with a driveway entrance on North St)

Max Number of Participants: 8
Skill Level: Absolute Beginner. This class is best suited for adults and kids ages 9+ with the supervision of an adult, as the sharp needles used need to move quite fast to shape and felt the wool.
Description: In this class, you'll learn the basics of needle felting. You will use barb tipped needles to felt wool onto a surface and create catnip mice. You can add string for a tail to make these fun toys for your beloved pet. If you don’t want to add catnip you can leave that out and just create a felted mouse!
Prerequisites: None, no previous experience needed
Techniques you will learn: Needle felting with wool
What's Included:
- Enough wool to make 2 mice
- Catnip for the inside of the mice (this is optional)
- use of needles and wool mats during class
