Needle Felting Workshop: Wildflower Meadow

Have you wanted to try needle felting but didn't know how to start? This is your chance! Come learn the basics of needle felting with Connected Stitches. No experience necessary, so no matter what your skill level feel free to come learn and make a felt creation. Chris will guide participants step by step to make a Wildflower Meadow scene. Learn the art of stabbing wool into amazing creations!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn the basics of needle felting onto a two-dimensional surface in a supportive and relaxing environment. Chris will guide you as you create your own unique wildflower meadow "wool painting."

A Needle Felt Kit for Wildflower Meadow by Grey Fox Felting is included in the cost of the class. Each kit is packaged and includes:

- rainbow assortment of colored wool (colors of wool may vary from photo depending on availability)

- wool felt sheet

- 4" wood embroidery hoop

Extra supplies needed at home: scissors and craft glue to trim excess felt and adhere backing material if you’re not ready to do this step in class.

Skill Level: Absolute Beginner. This class is best suited for adults, as the sharp needles used need to move quite fast to shape and felt the wool. 

Description: In this class, you'll learn the basics of needle felting. You will use barb tipped needles to felt wool and create a 2D wool painting. No experience is necessary and all materials are included in the cost of class.

Prerequisites: None, no previous experience needed
